"In this lesson we will be covering a technique known as ujjayi pranayama. Ujjayi can be translated in Sanskrit as victorious and in ujjayi pranayama we are conquering the deeper states of the mind and drawing our awareness in to the more subtle elements within the mind and the body. Ujjayi pranayama is used throughout many yogic practices and is an essential part of many pranayama, meditation, and asana practices. The lesson we will be covering is a basic introduction to ujjayi pranayama."
